Yesterday, KS1 enjoyed China Day - a day full of exciting activities to help us all learn more about China. We all had a go at Chinese dancing, making dumplings and calligraphy. In the afternoon we got to choose some crafts to make such as a Chinese drum, a fan, a fortune teller and a Chinese lantern. We also had a photograph taken of all of us in our wonderful Chinese outfits - we even had some ninjas and a dragon! Here are some photographs from our day:
Learning the peacock dance.
The longer the dragon, the luckier it is.
Nǐ hǎo
Mrs Payne teaching us about different vegetables to put inside our dumplings.
Smelling some ginger.
Hazel concentrating on mixing it all up!
Roll the dough nice and thin.
Our lovely Chinese outfits.
Strike a Pose!
