In Literacy, we followed a set of instructions to make a split pin car. We will be writing our own instructions for making a split pin car tomorrow!
In the afternoon, we learnt about axles, wheels and chassis in Design Technology. Our classes mixed together, so the children could work with different people in our phase. We practised and experimented to see what the role of the axle and wheels were. We explored using various materials such as pegs, masking tape, PVA glue, blu-tack and straws to help us attach the wheels and axles onto the chassis.
Year 1 and 2 worked really hard and were fantastic investigators!
