Making Parks- Experimenting and Exploring

After visiting the park, we knew we wanted to design our own changes to the park. We all designed our parks immediately after our visit. We then spent our next DT lesson practising the skills we would need to make our own parks. It was important for us to use a range of equipment and really experiment!


We made hinges using treasury tags, cellotape and split pins. We practised making holes by using a bradawl, hole punch and pencil. The other skills we practised were joining things together using pipe cleaners and straws.

We have now made our parks after spending yesterday being extra creative. Look out for some more pictures coming soon!
