As part of our work on our topic of Festivals, the children made oil lamps like those used in Diwali celebrations. They used clay to make their lamp and then decorated with paint! Lots of care was needed to paint on detail.
The children have also been thinking about designing their own Christmas/celebration sandwich. They tasted different types of bread, turkey, beef, salmon, Brie, Stilton, cranberry sauce and chutney! This week we'll make our sandwiches!
